The most undesirable situation for long time operation of the personal computer (PC) is that the operating system of PC is not available to boot suddenly because of the hard disk troubles. It's difficult to access to the system files/data of local client PC on a kind of situation. We proposed the new recovery system for the damaged PC system on laboratory local area network by use of both of "network boot" and "KNOPIX". This paper presents the summary of the construction of this recovery system and the verification of them. |
